USB Data Card/Dongle: APN settings



If you are using a USB Data Card or USB Dongle on your laptop/computer to connect to the internet, you will need to set the correct Access Point Name (APN) settings of your telecom provider in the Mobile Application software in order to connect successfully. Most of the softwares provided along with the Data Card/ USB Dongle will have all the setting preconfigured, however incase you have messed the settings or need to enter the settings in a software which is not configured, you will need to enter the APN settings manually

To enter the settings manually, follow the steps below. These are generic instructions and most of the software should have similar options

1.Go to Tools > Option > Connection Type > NDIS or RAS Modem (For 2g sim) > Click OK

2.Go to Tools > Option >Profile Management > Select New > Enter Service Provider Name into
Profile name > Select Static > Enter APN as per the list given below > Press Save Button

3.Go to Connection – Select appropriate Service Provider – Click Connect
